Curriculum Vita - Another Adventure
Cliff West has worked in creative services for over 30 years -- developing websites, packaging, marketing collateral, software, toys, books and magazines. His areas of expertise include creative direction and administration, project management, instructional design, product design, art direction, copywriting, documentation management and production. He holds a degree from the University of California at Berkeley and has completed graduate studies at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco.

Decision Education Foundation
Decision Education Foundation under the auspices of its parent company, Strategic Decisions Group, espouses that better decisions make better lives. The foundation publishes instructional materials on the process of developing good decision-making skills.
Cliff West created the initial concept and managed the team that produced a DVD marketing video. The DVD provides an overview of the decision making process with presentations by DEF executives and includes interviews with educators, students and parents.
LeapPad Packaging
LeapPad, the flagship product of Leapfrog, has sold over 10 million units worldwide.
Cliff West was the Sr. Director of Creative Services at Leapfrog for 5 and a half years. He was responsible for directing the creation of 3 different line look developments for LeapPad in response to changing Marketing requirements. In his tenure over 2000 projects were completed -- i.e. packaging, displays and collateral for several lines including Juvenile,Infant Toddler, Preschool, Grade and Middle School.
Yak Bak Packaging
Yak Bak was a top selling line of handheld electronic toys produced by YES! Entertainment.
Cliff West was the Director of Creative Services at YES! He was responsible for directing the development of this distinctive line of packaging. Other projects included Air Vectors, W3 (Wild Water Weapons), PowerPenz, Teddy Ruxpin and more.

Newsletters and Bulletins
Cliff West produced numerous monthly newsletters and weekly bulletins that have been published in print and on line.

Curriculum
Created and designed ComputerVisions, an electronic instructional media system providing a complete curriculum taught without a textbook.

PhonicsMart Software
PhonicsMart, a multimedia CD-ROM, is a fun and exciting way for children to practice phonics skills. As they interact with five different games, children can also create their own songs and discover animations, illustrations, sound effects, slide shows and videos.
Gizmo, an animated toy, is the guide that takes players through each game, offering direction and encouragement along the way.

2007 to 2011
PARISH ADMINISTRATOR, CHURCH OF THE EPIPHANY Developed and produced parish communications including weekly bulletin, monthly newsletter, Web site and email messaging programs. Managed administration and bookkeeping.
1999 to 2005
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE SERVICES, LEAPFROG, INC. Directed the design and development of over 2000 packaging, collateral, POP display and tradeshow projects. Established a team of over 30 highly skilled professionals in design, production, copy editing, photography and illustration. Supervised and sourced vendor relationships. Initiated an end-to-end electronic workflow (concept to printing) to streamline, increase quality and lower cost of overall process.
1995 to 1999
DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE SERVICES, YES! ENTERTAINMENT Directed the design and development of all packaging, web site, collateral materials and ID support. Supervised both in-house staff and contract design groups.
1991 to 1995
FOUNDER, ANOTHER ADVENTURE Developed over 12 educational software and video titles. Authored manuals and courseware. Recruited and supervised project teams. Provided creative services and product development for Hasbro, South-Western Publishing, Steck-Vaughn and other companies.

MANAGING EDITOR/DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE SERVICES, INTELLIGY CORPORATION Managed the development of instructional materials for over 150 different products; supervised a large staff of writers and designers.
